Her greatest joy in life was her 60 years of marriage to Bob, raising David and Catherine, and watching their families grow. Mary Lou maintained an active lifestyle into her 90s, visiting relatives across the country, playing golf at London Country Club (always at a fast pace), spending winters in Sarasota, and knitting Christmas stockings for her great-grandchildren. She was a big fan of Buckeye football and basketball and enjoyed watching games with her family and friends. Mary Lou was an independent country girl who loved living on her farm, playing bridge, spending time with her neighbors Tim & Mary and Judy & David, and daily calls with her close friend, Betty. She was an involved member of her community, which included working as a substitute teacher at Plains School, volunteering at London Hospital, serving as a board member of the Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and participating as a member of The United Church. Mary Lou attended Ohio University and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is survived by her sister Jane, daughter Catherine and her husband Wayne, daughter-in-law Cindy, grandchildren Annie, Matthew, Katie, Boyd, and Webber, and great-grandchildren Keener, Grace, Mack, Louisa, and Vivian. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Webber, son David, sisters Ruth and Ann, and brothers Fred and Ned. Mary Lou was born on July 17, 1931, to Loutie LeMay and Bruce Clinton Junk.
